open January 1, 2012 to the FCA's first online painting competition; produced
by the Central Okanagan Chapter of the FCA and sponsored by Classic Gallery
Framing, Swinton's Art Supply & Instruction and Westshore Artist Panels.
We are pleased to announce a brand new international event; The FCA Classic
Painting Competition, FCA's first online painting competition! Produced
by The Central Okanagan Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists.
The FCA Classic is open to both members and non members, is only $10 per
entry with unlimited entries per person. There are no size restrictions
and no framing or shipping is required. Home of The FCA Classic will be
on our website starting January
1, 2012 and will be accepting entries until March 31, 2012. Every entry
will be viewable in an online gallery ... so get painting!

FCA Classic Online Support
Entering
the FCA Classic will be all done online within the FCA COC website. It does
not require loggin, the process is smooth and prompts you all along the
way. If you do run into a snag, the Central Okanagan Chapter website has
a support section with common entry errors and trouble shooting tips.

Plant Collection Exhibition and Sale

· The Federation Gallery presents an important exhibition of rare works availiable from the estate of Stafford Plant (1914-2000). Born in 1914, Shatford Donald Plant was a talented painter, instructor and graphic designer. He was a student of L.A.C. Panton, F.H. Brigden and Group of seven member Arthur Lismer.
